veganism

Veganism consists of not using non-human animals in our daily lives, as follows:

We are vegan for ethical reasons, for it is not fair to use and damage non-human animals. As the writer Alice Walker said,

“The animals of the world exist for their own reasons. They were not made for humans any more than black people were made for whites or women for men”.

Let us suppose:

Would it be fair for them to kill you when they are omnivorous and thus do not need to eat ingredients of animal origin?

Would it be fair to damage human animals for the needless purpose of eating or drinking ingredients of human-animal origin?

Would you accept for these beings to imprison people and force pregnancies on them in order to produce countless births, with the purpose of manufacturing shoes, handbags, belts and so on with their skin?

Can you imagine human animals being imprisoned and inseminated against their will in order to produce countless births, with the purpose of experimenting with them, in such a way that:

All this against their will...

Would you accept being used as a lab tool, being experimented on, whether it could benefit those third beings or not?

Would you consider being imprisoned for life, so that they could go and stare-at and make-fun-of you at their so-called zoos and aquaria, fair?

What is unfair is not how, where or why non-human animals are exploited, damaged or killed, but the existence of exploitation and murder itself.

We can all help non-human animals,
by doing such a simple thing
		    as to stop using them.

		      We can all be vegan.

		        You can be vegan.
